  • Uploaded images (processed in real-time for analysis, not stored permanently on GuideVest servers)
  • Paper trading data (virtual portfolio, simulated trades, positions—no real money involved)

  • To troubleshoot, analyze, and enhance platform security

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

  • We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
  • We may share limited data with trusted vendors (e.g., Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe, Finnhub, Alpaca) only to deliver our core features. Uploaded images are transmitted securely to OpenAI's API solely for real-time analysis and are subject to OpenAI's data policies (which do not use customer images to train models).
  • All payment details are handled by Stripe and never stored on GuideVest servers.
  • Paper trading data is managed by Alpaca Securities LLC for simulation purposes only.
  • We may disclose data to comply with law or defend our rights.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to manage logins and improve your experience. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as you have an active account. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
